Fabulous. Whilst the pure FIS-WC ski is known as a handful, the retail version, the Omeglass World Cup is an excellent performer. Even though the Omeglass hasn't appeared to change too much over the years the performance has always improved.

This newer model seems more direct than the outgoing Omeglass. As is the current trend the ski works stronger down the fall-line and allows the slalom skier to be more acute in their angles. Lightening quick from edge-to-edge and smooth with it, this is a ski for instructors or experts who love short, thigh-burning turns and precise, rock-solid edge control.

Dynastar Mythic Legend 2009 Ski review

With it's fat waist width this ski will power though any snow condition without problem. Its medium to stiff flex holds an edge in firmer snow surprisingly well for how wide the ski is. Most skis in this category are just above acceptable for being a multi-condition, all-mountain ski. However, the Mythic Rider excels in just about every snow condition it is presented with. The only gripe is the lack of agility at slower speeds and in the bumps. But, why would you ski that if there is powder and crud on the mountain anyway?
