General Event Info - 2009 Burton NZ Open
11 - 15 AUGUST 2009 – The Burton New Zealand Open is an established annual event within the Burton family. With 6 years already under its belt, the New Zealand Open kick-starts Burton's 2010 Global Open Series.

This years event sees the NZO return to its place of origin, Cardrona Alpine Resort, and will comprise of Half Pipe and Slopestyle disciplines. Running from Tuesday 11th August through to Saturday 15th August (Sunday the 16th is the bad weather day), the 2009 Burton New Zealand Open yet again promises to be the pinnacle of the New Zealand winter calendar.

Launching into its 10th edition in 2009 the Burton European Open will celebrate a big birthday party in Laax from Jan. 9-16, 2009. Top riders from all over the world will battle for important BGOS Ranking Points and TTR World Ranking Points. More than 400 riders will try to get a share of the US$ 125.000 prize-money cake in Halfpipe and Slopestyle competitions.
