Not enough fun being had at windsurfing nowaways. More whingeing about conditions than actual sailing, etc. So here's a clip of going out in average conditions, on cheap equipment. This allows to keep shape, work on skills and balance, plus it's free! Before I get comments: I do realise some of the freestyle in there is not that good. Just hope it's entertaining, that's all.

I had been told that I jump around a lot on old-fashion style Windsurfers, so I put this clip together for the fun of it.

Some moves require (or are more effective) with a jump, but there must be some hot-dogging I suppose...

Yo, decided to put together my oldest Windsurfer bits and take it out in strong winds. Teak booms, a patched-up sail, and so on.

What a fight... I could not even tie the booms properly - didn't know how.

At least, proves that anything can be ridden, even freestyled... Was fun!

Yes, one can ride a longboard windsurfing upside down - it's actually surprising stable thus. The trick is to get into this position and getting out of it. See this video on how to do it. Good move, hard on the equipment and the sailor, sporty. Have fun!

Tutorial on how to ride a windsurfing long board on the rail. This was a trick of the '80s, still fun to do, plus lots more can be done once on the rail. Watch the video to the end. This is the basic railride (forward), I'll post more complicated ones soon. Good old fun for $25, which is what the board cost me!
