Heading north from Yakima towards Ellensburg/Seattle~ located off I-82 on to SR821 about 8 miles into the Canyon on past the Roza Recreation Area you will find Jim Fife & Friends. This place was founded in the mid 80's by Jim. Groups of people float this river come summertime.Through out the years many have learned this riverboard sport at the Yakima River, many have paddled on in to try it, some you never see again, some say they'll be back, a few have returned with their own designs and board systems and still come out to this day.
