Approx 9 foot drop into the river it is the best & easiest way to launch the rafts. There is a wire fence so close that it doesn't leave much room. A quarter of the raft is hanging over the edge when we get into our seats. The other way is to have someone tip us over the edge sideways one tube at a time.

Rolling a Raft Like a Kayak

With the roll bar in place and both paddlers working together as a team, these rafts can be rolled in a similar fasion as a kayak.
This clip is of a G3 Creature Craft flipping in Snake Pit in Cross Mtn Gorge on the Yampa at around 5,000 CFS. You can see Darren's head coming out of the water as he does his down stroke on the bottom.
