After being forced to sit at base camp waiting for weather to improve, the boys awake to what looks like a pleasant day. There's more disappointment though, when they're told the helicopter can't fly. They find a solution, but nothing is easy...

The conditions are extreme and the Himalaya mountains are the boss when it comes to attempting a stunt like this. The Nepalese guides get worried about the team's safety and Mother Nature has her last say...

The team moves further up the hill & enjoys some high altitude play time (roughly 5300m above sea level). They are worried about the extreme wind conditions at the height they want to reach though, so wait patiently to see if Mother Nature will behave.

Two weeks ago, 4 riders from the Rip Curl Team left to go and experience an unforgettable adventure on top of the world. Snowfall has been particularly scarce in Europe this winter. This is why Baptiste Collomb-Patton, Darius Heristchian, Chris Booth and Per Loken decided to go in search of snow in Nepal and ride one of Annapurna’s most glorious slopes, to live their Search. There’s surely nothing better than riding virgin slopes with an abundance of fresh powder snow. Add to that the discovery of a mystical region and the chance to come face to face with a faraway culture.

Our team heads up the mountain to hit some freeriding, but the weather causes some problems on the slopes. Despite the sunny blue skies, the wind picks up and makes it too dangerous to ride. Australian skier Chris Booth explains the situation.

A heavy snowfall has led to the cancellation of flights into Jomsom, so our team is stuck there for another night. The plane is unable to land on the snow-covered runway. As Chris Booth explains in this Podcast, despite the inconvenience, the boys are happy to have electricity, phones and a toilet that flushes.
