King of the Groms 2008 - World Finals
Vicente Romero from Spain has been crowned European King of The Groms Champion. He had the highest scoring wave of the final. Surfing strongly on a solid 4ft (1.5m) left, he tore three great off the lip manoeuvres and landed a mini air, which added to his 13.17 heat score. His fellow finalists put on a great show to produce a fitting climax to what has been a truly spectacular event.

Sofia Mulanovich was the standout surfer all week at the Rip Curl Girls Festival and her final hurdle on the way to the title was Brazilian ripper Silvana Lima in the final. Silvana was in great form all week, but the Mulanovich was just too good on her backhand and slashed her way to a comfortable and deserved win. Congratulations Sofia!

Base jumping courses at the Freefall University in conjunction with Euphoria. We offer base jumping courses for the beginner. Our instructors for our AFF courses in Spain and Portugal also base jump in their spare time.

You must have at least 200 skydives and be current to be considered for the BASE course.

Due to the additional risk associated with BASE jumping we do have a selection process to ensure your safety. You must be current, have good canopy skills , have at least 200 skydives and have a Mentor arranged in your home country. We can help with the mentor if all other criteria are met.
