Kayaking this steep creek involves hiking 5 miles and paddling about 4. Not for the timid...This is a full on mini expidition in one of the most remote areas in North Carolina...

Green River Narrows Race 2006!

Every year kayakers gather to the Green river near Saluda, NC to see who truley is the king of the Green.
The green is a dam released river that is often the only class 5 fix for the adrenaline addicted kayakers of the southeast. Here is some video of the green river being raced.
