On March 25th the crew and a bunch of eager groms gathered at Lakey Peak, Sumbawa, for the 2nd event of this year’s Indonesian GromSearch Series. In this awesome location amidst the jungle, the sets were a solid 3-4 feet, and the kids were ripping.

The competition was tough but everyone had a blast. Check out the best clips from the event!

Heat 13 was the best battle of Round 3, featuring current world #1 Mick Fanning (AUS) and Bernardo Pigmeu (BRA). It wasn't really a battle though, with Fanning just going sick to total an event-best 18.66 to smash Bernardo's 12.26.

The Rip Curl Pro set up camp at Johanna Beach for the second day in a row for the running of Round 3 heats in more high quality conditions. The waves were good, the wind was offshore, there were plenty of hotties on the beach and the surfing was sick.

Round 2 was full of highlights, but Heat 8 - featuring Mick Campbell (AUS) and Neco Padaratz (BRA) - was the pick of the day. Neco surfed well and looked good to advance, but the Ginga Ninja proved to good and won the heat.
