The 2nd Annual Roxy Jam Honolulu will be held August 20st-23th, 2008 at Queens Beach in Waikiki as part of Dukes OceanFest. This 3 star Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) womens longboard open pro draws the top female competitors from across the world and is a qualifier to the Roxy Jam Biarritz, which names the World Champion.

The Roxy Jam Honolulu has a prize purse of $5,000 with Schick Quattro for Women kicking in another $3,000 for a Style Award. This event features a fun beach festival atmosphere right in the heart of Waikiki.

GOING FOR THE GOLDEN PADDLE
With four- to six-foot waves, five teams of the most competitive water women on the planet, an array of watercrafts from rafts to inner tubes, tug-of-war rope and dodge balls, the First Annual O'Neill Team Challenge was on at Pupukea. Teams of about eight girls were divided up by brand name: Team O'Neill, Team Billabong, Team Roxy, Team Rip Curl and Team Snap (comprised of Serena Brooke, Claire Bevilacqua, Sarah Beardmore, Layne Beachley and Linda Fischer). They were determined to beat each other no matter what it took.

she didn't get gold in Athens, but she still amazes. there's no shortage of hot picks of her on the internet (search AMY ACUFF, on Google and click images). It was a huge deal that she and other femalw olympians posed in the nude in arty pics before the Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece.

It prompted the USOC to review and decide whether or not Amy could continue to represent the USA. The shots are artsy and erotic and were meant to celebrate the beauty of a female body at the high end of athletic conditioning. It didn't hurt to promote the games and these athletes either...
