Time for a nice long surf session with groovy music and funky horns with high surf and rough seas the surfers have their hands full with bumpy powerful waves to ride...... phwq! In honor of the show's 2 year anniversary, I present to you the Original Hawaii Surf Session Report, episode #001, November 17th, 2005!

ALOHA, FRIENDS, FANS and the FAMILY STOKES.
Two years ago I was struck with an idea based on a new innovation in broadcasting, PODCASTING! I always wanted to have my own surf show and this was my opportunity to do it on my own and answer to nobody and be beholden FCC standards, i.e.; program length and payola, plugola and local bureaucracy. For the first time the power of broadcasting world wide was tangible. So I conceived of a show about surf, surfers and surfing... but not just about pro surfers. A show that could be a journal or a Vlog, if you will. Covering the islands in-search of the best WAVE OF THE DAY. Packaged like a weather / surf report / Sports program. No matter the wave size the goal was to document the surf if of the island in a professional, good humored, entertaining surf show.... your mama would approve.

And now for something a little different. Last night I hosted another party at Tiki's Grill and Bar, "TIKI TUESDAYS" where Typical hawaiians were ripping it up and to top it off Thompson Enos' (Lead Singer) mother performed a hula. Later on after the beers were flowing a guest intrroduced himself his girlfriend and friend Tyrone who lives here on the island. Turns out the guest, Colin, is a big fan of the show and came all the way from Vancouver Canada. He bought ME a few beers and we shared some stories and decide to meet up the next day for a Surf Session. Nice to have viewers like him. ENJOY YER SELF!
