This week we head to Falls Creek where Canada's Charles Reid took a clean sweep at the Stylewars snowboard event, winning both the 28 Stairs rail comp and the overall win. We then follow Reid to Perisher where he breaks the world record for longest rail slide, gliding in at an impressive 54.8 metres. Meanwhile US rider Chas Guldemond walks home 15-grand happier after claiming overall victory at the event. Lastly we head across to the States where Skuff's US correspondents Jordan + Claire get the dirt on Tony Hawk when they caught up with his mum (and the man himself) at a stop-off on his Boom Boom Huck Jam tour.

Come along as we follow Mike Vallely, literally the hardest working man in show business, on the Warped Tour with his band Revolution Mother. On tour for 60 days, he plays two shows a day, and then skates a full session on the Warped ramp before packing up and heading for the next city.

Then back to reality, we join Mike at home with his family as he decompresses from the tour, and explains what it`s like to have a life where one day you`re a rock star, and the next you`re a responsible father.

As Mike likes to say, "Sometimes we rock and sometimes we roll." In this "Firsthand," you`ll witness all that and much, much more.

This week we get a sneak peak at brand new Aussie Mountain Biking movie "TIA - This is Australia", an insight into Mountain Biking down-under premiering at next weekend's leg of the MTB World Cup in Canberra - check www.tiafilm.com for more details.
We also head to Germany where Swiss FMX-freak Mat Rebeaud sealed the deal on this year's RedBull X-Fighters, knocking Australia's Robbie Maddison out of the way in the semis before going on win the Hamburg leg of the series.
And we gear up for all the snowboarding action at this weekend's Stylewars event at Falls Creek by looking back on last year's competition.
