Elena lives in Nevada and rides in Tahoe and Mammoth. She represents the Burton Trinity girls clothing line, but has been representing Burton in the women's finals at contests all year long. Elena is an all-around rider and a podium threat in the halfpipe and slopestyle contests.

What was your first snowboard set up,
and how old were you when you started riding?
To answer this question I had to ask my parents. I was 6 years old and my set up was a Burton board and Burton boots and bindings

Why do you ride?
Cuz it’s the funnest thing to do...ever

How does riding make you feel?
:):):):):):):):):)

What does a 'perfect day' of riding consist of?
Sleeping in late, waking up and having strawberry waffles and hash browns made for me, then going up and it’s either a sick sunny warm powder day with all my friends, or it’s slushy and hot and riding park with all my friends.

Describe a typical day of riding - you roll out
of bed, what happens next?
Well if it is before 11am, then I shove food in my mouth, try to get my clothes on straight, grab my boots and board drag myself to the mountain, meet people there, go up on the lift without tying my boots, eventually wake up enough to tie them and go and have fun snowboarding Eat lots of food, go hot tubing and then eat dessert for dinner, watch a movie and fall asleep :):):). sounds good - too bad it rarely happens

What is most important to you in your life?
My family and friends.

Who are your favorite people to ride with?
All those Mammoth weirdos

Tell us about one of your most memorable days on the mountain.
The day I got 3rd at the Breck Grand Prix.

Who inspires you and why?
All women snowboarders who are pushing the sport to be better, but still having fun doing it...cuz I think that it’s awesome!!

What has traveling done for your life?
Made it just fabulous!

What do you enjoy doing in the off-season?
Sleeping, trying to skate, eating, wakeboarding,
being lazy cuz I cant during the season!

What other hobbies do you have?
Skateboarding, wakeboarding and making life interesting.

Do you help with the development of any Burton products?
Trinity, P13 and the Chopper boards.
