http://www.rei.com Katie and Brad, REI Outdoor School instructors, demonstrate a "T" rescue in this video. You've capsized and are out of your kayak. Your partner moves her boat perpendicular to your bow. Swim to the back of your boat and push down on the stern. At the same time, your partner lifts your bow and pulls it onto her deck. She then dumps the water out of it and sets your boat back in the water (right side up). She sets the two boats parallel and facing in opposite directions. While she leans over and stabilizes your kayak, you pull yourself up from the other side. Keep your weight low and spread between the two boats. Swing your feet into your cockpit and swivel your body into the cockpit, still keeping your weight low and between the the two boats. Your partner helps you put your spray skirt back on the cockpit combing.
