http://www.rei.com Katie, an REI Outdoor School instructor, shows you how to put a kayak into the water from a dock by yourself in this video. Grab the handle at the stern of the boat with one hand and the underside of the stern by the rudder area with the other. Lift up, using your knees. Point the bow of the boat toward the water, slowly slide the boat into the water, and then lower the stern into the water. To get the boat out of the water follow these steps in reverse.
