The U.S. Open of Mountain Biking is America's premier mountain bike gravity race! Conveniently located within 1 hour from New York City, at the Diablo Freeride Park, Mountain Crreek Resort in Vernon, NY, the U.S. Open of Mountain Biking provides up-and-coming athletes with a unique opportunity to compete against the world's elite gravity athletes.

Each year over 500 athletes from across the globe make the pilgrimage to Diablo Freeride Park to vie for over $50,000 in cash and prizes and the opportunity to compete for the coveted U.S. Open championship title.

The 2009 U.S. Open will prove to be the largest U.S. Open event to date with various new improvements and additions including; an improved Downhill Course, a new Giant Slalom/IndyCross discipline, a $50,000 cash and prize purse and a new Junior-Class racing category.
