The Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast presented by LG Mobile is event No. 1 of 10 on the 2009 ASP World Tour, the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast enters into its third location of the event, with early rounds running at Duranbah Beach before relocating to the primary site at Snapper Rocks to today’s venue at nearby Greenmount/Coolangatta.
Mick Fanning (AUS), 27, former ASP World Champion and two-time past winner of the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast, will look to continue his 2009 campaign against Jeremy Flores (FRA), 20, in Heat 3 while fellow Coolangatta ace Joel Parkinson (AUS), 27, will take on an in-form Chris Davidson (AUS) in Heat 2.
When Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast Round 4 commences, up first will be former ASP World Champion C.J. Hobgood (USA), 29, against ASP Dream Tour sophomore Jihad Khodr (BRA), 25.
