The Mothership has landed.again.
It was October 2000 when Skogen Sprang first appeared on the cover of Powder magazine riding in Alaska the original
prototype of the now legendary Mothership. The article was titled The Future, and the production model was released the following year as the fattest modern day freeride ski in the industry at a 97mm waist. It rode years ahead of its time with a blend of stability and agility that simply didnt exist on big mountain freeride skis of the day. The fact that it continually crushed all expectations and the limits of big mountain and backcountry ski performance gained it an instant cult following
that never died.

It is now time again for Line to build a new one-of-a-kind freeride ski that lives up to the values of the original Mothership name. The innovations found on this new hand crafted big mountain ski set it apart from any other ski in existence and will again set the pace for big mountain skis of the future to be measured by. This is an extremely powerful, high impact, high speed, hard charging big mountain skiing machine that will push back as hard as you push it. The Mothership is back!
