For two weeks, four of the world's most talented female athletes on snow journeyed into British Columbia, Canada's interior backcountry for a once in a lifetime experience: RED BULL BACKOUNTRY BOMBSHELLS. All the knee-deep powder action -- from untouched lines to dangerous mini-avalanches -- is right here in this podcast.
Each athlete on the trip is a standout on her own - from KRISTI LESKINEN, recent winner of the Action Sports Award's "Skier of the Year" and member of the FHM's 2005 "Hot 100" list, to world extreme skiing champion ANDREA BINNING. Lest we forget, X Games standout MARIE-FRANCE ROY and Swiss sweetheart ANNE-FLORE MARXER, who's coming off a killer 2005 rookie season. Each girl on her own has a shelf full of trophies, honors galore and has contributed to the progression of women's action sports. Together they dominated the British Columbia backcountry, hitting off-piste trails, ramping up the level of women's riding and having a hell of a lot of fun while they did it.
