Bivvying out with your mates is something we reckon is quite an undiscovered aspect of the mountain biking culture. Riding with a bunch of mates and just bedding down for the night when it gets dark with the minimal amount of kit and just chatting and drinking until late. It’s an ideal that we decided to put to the test one night in July (It would surely be dry) when six of us set out in to the Trough of Bowland one night with a bunch of sleeping bags and some very clever kit. Things didn’t go quite to plan… Roll VT…
