Big Agnes Air Core pad

Review of Big Agnes Air Core pad. Big Agnes REM Air Core Sleeping...

Review of Big Agnes Air Core pad. Big Agnes REM Air Core Sleeping Pad incredibly light and comfortable. The Big Agnes REM Air Core is made of a durable 70 denier nylon fabric. I-beam construction provides longitudinal rigidity and gives shape to the pad. The I-beam construction also allows air to flow freely in and out, and reduces inflation time to a quick two minutes. The Air Core pads stuff to the size of a Nalgene water bottle and weighs a mere 22oz (medium), yet provides a whopping 2.5” thick backcountry bed. When used with any Big Agnes sleeping bag, the Air Core pad can be left in the pad sleeve, deflated and stuffed with the bag right into its stuff sack.

*Full length 2.5" thick pad that is lightweight and packs small
*The I-beam construction technique is functionally superior to the typical welded-through construction of other air mats.
*I-beam construction makes inflation quick and easy
*Packs down to a compact 4" x 8" or 4.5" x 8" size
*Durable 70 denier nylon fabric top and bottom protects against abrasions and punctures
*Durable, water repellent (DWR) coating sheds water and stains
*Internal polyurethane (PU) coating makes pad waterproof
*Non breakable brass valve seals tight due to its fine threading
*Exclusive: Non-breakable, EZ-Flate brass valve for easy closure
*All REM Air Core Pads come with a stuff sack, repair kit, and a 100% guarantee
*Use a closed cell foam pad with any of our Air Core Pads for extra insulation, especially when camping on frozen ground, snow or cold rock. The foam pad provides a barrier against the cold from the ground.
*Air Core pads are not self-inflating
