Hawaiian surfer Bethany Hamilton is an inspiration to millions around the world. Not only because she survived a deadly shark attack, but because the always-happy blonde teenager was brave enough to get back in the water and pursue her pro surfing career.

Many doubted her future in surfing after she lost her arm, but her faith, determination and belief has silenced all critics. Not only does Bethany still call surfing her first love, she has continued to build surfing as a profession.
