An extreme form of snorkeling, freediving is a technical sport which pushes the limits of human ability and sometimes defies scientific laws. Freediving is also known as one of the most dangerous sports. Many freedivers and support divers have suffered severe accidents during record attempts including technical failures and fatal blackouts.
